Mother’s
Helpers
These are experienced, mature sitters, or part-time nannies who give mom
a hand with younger children while mom is still at home. Mother’s
helpers provide relief and support to moms needing a break, nap, or free
time.
Excellent help for mom who has had a new baby, or for mothers who work
shift work and need to sleep during the day.
Average wage for a Mother’s helper is $9.50-$12.00 per hour.
Eldercare
Companions
We refer local Personal
Support Workers (PSW), Nurses, Homecare workers, and housekeepers to
assist with your adult loved ones. Live-in or live-out available.
Hiring locally is beneficial as we can meet with the caregivers in
person, contact local references, and refer them to your family
quickly. Eldercare Companions are available to make meals, tidy
house, run errands, shop, drive to and from appointments, and ensure
medication is taken correctly. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your loved
one is able to stay in the comfort of their own home, while staying safe
24/7. Average wages for Live-in companion are $400.00/week.

Emergency/Short
Notice
Some situations call for a short notice, or short-term caregiver. We
have a list of on-call staff who can be called out to care for sick
children home from school, or cover when the regular sitter cancels. In
a short notice situation you can contract a caregiver for a day or
short-term placement.
Overnight/Night
Feeding Assistance
New moms requiring support or assistance in the first few months after
delivery will find solace with an evening Mother’s Helper. Mom can catch
up on sleep while the Mother’s Helper feeds baby. Excellent service for
parents of multiples!
Average wages for overnights range from $12.00-15.00/hour.
Screening
Services
We offer additional screening services to families who have sourced a
nanny on their own. If you have hired a nanny through other means such
as: newspaper ads, online websites, through a friend, etc., Family Care
Connection can still handle your screening process. Our staff is
experienced in interviewing, screening, reference checking and will
provide a full written report on our screening results. Click

Vacation/Travel
Go ahead and plan that vacation with your spouse. We have nannies
available for short-term to cover your vacation time. Whether you’d
prefer Nanny to stay home with the children, or to come along to assist
during your vacation. We have a list of short-term nannies who will
gladly assist during vacation. Requires advance booking, weekly rates
apply.

We offer our visitors
