DATABASE TERMS OF USE CONDITIONS
Please ensure you have read and fully understand the Terms of Use
before registering to use the Sitter Database.
Terms of Use
This website is owned and operated by Family Care Connection Inc.,
hereinafter called FCC. All information found on this website is
subject to the Terms of Use Agreement. All documents, forms, images,
products are copyright material is owned by Family Care Connection
Inc. Any materials found on this website that are reproduced, sold,
copied, downloaded, exploited, modified or altered in any way will
be in violation of this contract.
Sitter Database Disclaimer
The sole purpose of the Sitter Database is to connect Parents with
Sitters by allowing them to exchange information online respecting
babysitting services. Users of this site understand and acknowledge
that Family Care Connection Inc. is providing an “as is” service and
in no way is responsible for the quality, availability, or accuracy
of information provided by the Sitters or Parents on the database.
The Sitter membership is non-refundable, non-exchangeable,
or transferable with any other FCC
service.
The User acknowledges and understands that the Sitters and Parents
registered in the Sitter Database are not interviewed, screened or
monitored by FCC. If a Parent chooses to contact and subsequently
hire a Sitter found on the FCC Sitter Database then the Parent will
be responsible for all interviews, screening and background checks
regarding the Sitter. The User agrees to release FCC and its
affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and
employees, from all responsibility related to the acts or omissions
of the Sitters found on the registry. FCC expressly disclaims any
liability, whatsoever for any suits, claims, injuries, indirect or
consequential loss or damages, wages and/or controversies or
conflicts that have resulted or may result whether known or unknown
in connection with such matters. FCC is unable to warrant any
accuracy of the information provided by the Sitter, or warrant the
availability, suitability, or quality of any Sitter registered on
the Sitter Database.
Any conflicts, controversies, or issues that may arise between the
Sitter and the Parent will be the sole responsibility of the Sitter
and Parent to deal with directly. FCC will not be responsible or
liable to mediate or deal with any conflicts or issues that may
arise between the Sitter and Parent.
Password and Security
Upon completing the Registration page you will receive a user
account and password. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of the user name and password, as well as the
activities and usage while under your user name and password. As a
User you agree to notify FCC of any unauthorized persons using your
user name and password or any other breach of security. As a user
you agree to Logout your account at the end of each session. FCC is
not responsible for any misuse of your account resulting in any
damages, loss, or liabilities. As a user you agree not to provide,
sell, or give access to your personal account information to any
other party.
Registration
The Sitter Database is a non-exclusive license granted by FCC to
Users who have completed the Registration form, and read the Terms
of Use Agreement. When completing the Registration form you agree
to, a) provide information that is accurate, true, complete and
up-to-date about yourself as prompted by the Registration form. b)
Periodically update your profile on the database to maintain current
and accurate information.
In continuing to protect the privacy and safety of our Users, the
Sitter Database is available to those users who are of legal age, 18
years and older.
The users must also be legally entitled to work within Canada, and
must hold a valid Social Insurance number. Any misrepresentations or
misinformation submitted on the registration forms regarding age,
citizenship, or experience, are not the responsibility of FCC, it’s
affiliates, officers, directors, agents, shareholders, employees or
assigns. FCC reserves the right to revoke the license of any User
not adhering to the Terms of Use Agreement, and to remove their
registration from the website.
User Conduct
The User of the Sitter Database is solely responsible for any
information posted, provided, emailed, or downloaded from this site.
The User agrees and acknowledges that FCC under no circumstances, is
responsible for any content provided, transmitted or posted by any
Users of this site, including, but not limited to, any errors or
omissions, or any loss or damages incurred as a result of the use of
any content posted, emailed, transmitted or sent via the database.
This site may not be used in such manner as to create, post, or
transmit any or material or information which is: obscene, violent,
discriminatory or defamatory, promotes hate, or which violates the
personal, proprietary, or intellectual property rights of any party
or in any other manner which contravenes applicable statutes, laws,
rules, regulations, and bylaws.
Account Termination
The User agrees and acknowledges that FCC exercises the right to
terminate your user name and password at any time, at their sole
discretion. FCC may at any time remove content within the site, or
discontinue to offer services on this site. The limitations,
disclaimers of warranties, provisions of governing law, shall
survive any such termination.
Affiliates
The User agrees and acknowledges that FCC will not be responsible or
liable for the usage of products, services, advise or third party
website links provided by our affiliate sponsors, other childcare
agencies registered on the database, and advertisers on this site.
FCC is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage incurred as
a result of dealings with the affiliates. |
